The Interdisciplinary MSc in Applied Economics and Finance aims to train scholars in contemporary fields of applied economics, such as financial analysis, in conjunction with politics, auditing accounting for businesses and markets, and auditing of the public sector. The cohesive foundation of the MSc encompasses theoretical knowledge for understanding the functioning of the economy at micro- and macroeconomic levels, coupled with practical training in finance, auditing, and accounting for both the private and public sectors.

The MSc prepares its students for high-level positions in the private or public sector, international organizations, and, more broadly, seeks to cultivate specialized experts capable of contributing to the diverse development of the Greek economy. Furthermore, the depth of knowledge provided equips students to pursue further studies at the doctoral level.
